Holiday binging and food temptations are a big issue for everyone, but it's a really thorny problem when you have diabetes. My friend Beth gave us a little advice when it's time for feasting: prebolus. If you know some big carbs are headed your way, get that blood sugar headed down early. We've found it's always easier to raise sugars than to chase down a blood sugar that's already high. I think it has something to do with momentum.
